Zo Hoida, Weightmans has 15 years’ experience in Real Estate and has worked on a full range of property matters including acquisitions and disposals, development, landlord and tenant, secured lending and social housing. Her specialism is development work within both the public and private sectors, including acting on complex mixed use developments for clients from both backgrounds. Zo has recently acted on several major high profile regeneration projects for local and central government and has advised on emerging Enterprise Zone schemes.
Lee Gordon heads Weightmans’ Planning team and has considerable experience of all aspects of planning and related law. In addition to local authority clients, Lee represents private sector developers and statutory consultees and consequently has an excellent insight into the issues faced by all parties for development projects. He regularly advises on complex planning agreements and applications, ancillary highways consents and rights of way, CPO and appropriation, EIA law issues, defending permissions from judicial review challenges and planning appeals. Lee has significant knowledge and experience of residential development schemes. Lee’s experience also includes advising on various nationally significant infrastructure projects and CPO issues.
Andrew Evans, Geldards is a Lawyer and Chartered Tax Adviser with knowledge of a large range of taxes, Andrew is able to highlight the key tax issues in what is now the longest tax code in the world. Andrew provides advice on corporate tax issues to companies ranging from start-ups to established, multi-million pound turnover companies. His broad range of experience allows him to consider a large number of tax areas and identify the main tax problems so that practical solutions can be found. Andrew provides key property tax advice to businesses, companies and individuals undertaking property transactions, ranging from the grant of leases to multi-million pound redevelopments involving the construction of headquarter buildings in major city centres.
Anthony Everitt, ADE Regeneration, is experienced at turning ideas into projects, and delivering high profile physical regeneration and economic development projects across the UK. Anthony began his career working as a consultant for clients spanning the public and private sector. Anthony has recently started his own regeneration practice having previously worked for private sector consultancies ( KPMG, Eye, Urban Delivery) and four years working as a Senior Local Authority officer on the South Coast of England and in Nottingham. Anthony has an in‐depth understanding of local authorities and the interface between the public and private sectors in the delivery of complex strategic regeneration projects.
