Presenter profiles:
Richard Freeth is a partner in the Birmingham Education Team at Browne Jacobson. He specialises in providing support to our education clients on a range of issues, both operational and strategic. He has over 17 years’ experience of directly supporting schools and local authorities on education and wider children services issues.
Jon Ludford-Thomas is a Senior Solicitor at Nottingham City Council. Jon has over 18 years’ experience in the fields of employment law and education law. Jon started working at Nottingham City Council shortly after the City Council attained unitary status and became responsible for education in the City of Nottingham. Therefore, Jon has advised Nottingham City Council, its schools and independent appeal panels on a range of education matters from admissions and exclusion through school re-organisation to special educational needs.
