This workshop will look at maladministration including complaints from the public and investigations by the Local Government Ombudsman and Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.

Virginia Cooper is a partner at Bevan Brittan in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Department in London with particular focus on the local government sector. Virginia acts for a large number of public bodies including local authorities, regulators, NHS Trusts and ombudsmen in resolving complex commercial, regulatory and public law disputes. She specialises in collective actions for large groups of clients advising on all aspects of litigation including mediations, High Court proceedings and judicial reviews.
Amy Tschobotko is a solicitor at Bevan Brittan in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Department in London. Amy acts for a wide range of public bodies and provides regulatory and public law advice, particularly in the context of Judicial Review proceedings.
