The original vision and values of EM LawShare unchanged. The Consortium has benefited from multi-million pound cost savings generated by bulk buying power and a whole host of added value services provided by our partner law firms.
We are all facing increasing pressures and demands on resources against a backdrop of needing to maintain high quality legal advice. The EM LawShare consortium is a way of collaborating and harnessing the strength of the local government and public sector community together with specialist private sector legal support.
Members will benefit from shared knowledge and a greater ability to network with one another. This is not just a legal call-off contract - it is a true and vibrant partnership. As such Members will be able to appoint their chosen law firm directly and build trusting critical friend relationships with individual lawyers. This is about empowering Members and giving the freedom to make intelligent purchasing choices with enhanced levels of cost certainty.
Our partner law firms work together to devise new and innovative training sessions including legal, practice and soft skills training. They collaborate to organise our conference, devise a series of briefing notes, design and maintain the EM LawShare website and each offers a range of individual added value services.
EM LawShare will continue to grow and we welcome new members in and around the East Midlands region who share in the partnership ethos and collaborative spirit of EM LawShare.
