This event aims to assess the final form of the new Public Contracts Regulations and their application in practical scenarios. It will include an in depth analysis of contractual provisions reflecting the new regime

Topics to be covered include:

  • The new regime for sub-threshold tenders
  • How will the “light-touch” regime work?

Speaker profiles:

Stephen Pearson, Partner at Freeths has advised on complex procurements for over 15 years to a range of public bodies and has worked on major outsourcings in Education, Leisure, Housing, Health and the Emergency Services

Owen Evans at Geldards is an experienced commercial services lawyer, specialising in public procurement. He advises on many types of procurements for his clients, particularly in the areas of technology, city regeneration and waste management. Owen helps his clients plan strategy, prepare tender documentation, prepare contracts and evaluation methodologies and manage both processes and bidders.
